Astronomik UV/IR blocking filter (2")

The Astronomik UV/IR filter is a must-have for users of digital cameras with acromatic refractors. UV/IR rays unfocussed by the lenses cause a disturbing "halo" on the ccd chip, which can be completely eliminated by using this filter. The very high quality of the device is guaranteed by the 98% light transmission index, the high quality optical glass, which is highly resistant to scratches thanks to its hard coating. It can of course be combined with other filters and its surfaces are anti-reflective coated for impeccable imaging.
