The Armytek Wizard C2 Pro Max Magnet USB rechargeable pocket flashlight and headlamp is a great example of how there is always room for an even better, more powerful light. The manufacturer thought so too and created the latest, redesigned version of its flagship Wizard C2 Pro series. This is a truly multifunctional flashlight with outstanding performance, ideal for fieldwork, hiking, fishing, hunting and more. Thanks to the headband and easily removable belt clip included in the standard package, the flashlight can be attached to countless points on the body. Its flat base allows it to be placed on horizontal surfaces, while its magnetic base lets it adhere to steel surfaces, keeping both hands free.
The significantly larger, 4000-lumen Cree XP70.2 LED delivers maximum output to illuminate the surroundings up to 114 m away. While this may not seem particularly impressive compared to the previous model, maximizing beam distance was not the only goal with this flashlight. Its 10 operating modes allow the brightness to be adjusted in several levels using the single switch on the side of the flashlight. It also features a strobe mode that can be used for self-defense. A closer look at the flashlight's optics reveals why such immense 4000-lumen output was needed: its latest-generation TIR optical system provides a 110° spot beam that can hardly be called narrow, while its wide 150° flood beam keeps the surrounding area visible without the distracting “tunnel vision” effect. The flashlight is powered by one included 5000 mAh 21700 Li-ion battery, but it can also be operated with an 18650 battery using the included adapter. However, the lower-capacity battery may reduce the flashlight's performance. The battery is charged via the included magnetic charging platform with a standard USB connector, which, thanks to redesigned electronics, is twice as fast as those used with previous Wizard models.
The robust construction and carefully considered design make the flashlight extremely durable: according to the manufacturer, it can withstand drops from heights of up to 10 metres. The highest IP68-rated dust and water protection ensures that the flashlight can remain submerged at a depth of up to 10 m for up to 2 hours without damage.
The outstanding ergonomics of the Armytek Wizard C2 Pro Max Magnet USB headlamp are ensured by its two-piece headband made from non-slip material, which remains securely in place even during sports activities. The multicolour status indicator clearly displays the charge level and also warns of overheating.
The stated specifications apply to the cool white version; the warm white version offers slightly lower performance.
