Its IP67 rated dust and water protection makes it resistant to water drops up to 1 meter deep, but it's not designed for underwater use, so no more than 30 minutes of charging in water is allowed. In fact, the manufacturer says the lamp can withstand being dropped from a height of 10 metres without being damaged.
The device can be charged using a standard Micro USB connector (charger, cable not included) and is not only chargeable, but can also be powered directly from a powerbank!
