The Amateur Astronomer's Handbook gives an insight into the beauty of amateur astronomy, the variety of sightings and the details of the richly evolving technique in 616 pages.

The time since its publication in 1999 has necessitated a complete revision of the publication, which features well-known names. We are fortunate that in Hungary there is such a deep tradition of amateur astronomers' activities, brought together by the Hungarian Astronomical Association!
