This 60 mm guide scope works great with modern autoguiders. Its big advantage is that it terminates in a standard 31.7 mm (1.25") T2 thread in a 31.7 mm (1.25") extension tube, so you can attach virtually any camera or eyepiece. The paralleling is done with 6 small screws, which offers a sturdier mount for autoguiding than the more common spring-load versions.
Thanks to its short design, you won't have any problems with the edge adjustment. Coarse focus can be adjusted with a 3cm slider, while fine focus is aided by a helical mount with a T2 thread. Both systems are scaled, with readable values. The lens has a 60mm free diameter and 216mm focus, with all optical surfaces fully multicoated. The inside of the tube is carefully shielded to prevent distracting reflections, and the lens has a longer-than-average dew cap in front of the lens to provide effective protection against fogging.
The mini guidescope is compatible with SkyWatcher finder scopes or can be mounted on top of Bresser Messier binoculars.
Weighs approximately 900g.
